Championing Schools Our Community Deserves
Catalina Rupert's platform is rooted in listening — to parents, teachers, and students. Here's what she'll fight for on the School Board.
Student Safety & School Culture
True safety means every student feels emotionally secure, included, and like they truly belong.
Catalina believes safety goes far beyond locked doors. She will champion a holistic approach to school safety that addresses emotional security, inclusion, and belonging for every student. She will advocate for strong Social-Emotional Learning from TK through 8th grade, supporting students in developing the tools to resolve conflict, practice empathy, and regulate emotions — while helping schools proactively address bullying. Strengthening trust between students and staff can help ensure challenges are recognized and addressed early. Catalina will also advocate for increased mental health resources and positive behavior interventions, helping ensure every school has the support needed for students to thrive.

Advocacy & Collaboration
Every decision should center students, families, and teachers — the three pillars of a thriving district.
Catalina will anchor all district leadership and policy decisions around three pillars: students, families, and teachers. She will promote active student involvement and champion the CA Pathway to Multilingual initiative, giving students a real voice in their education. She commits to open communication, transparency, and genuine partnership with all diverse family structures. For teachers, she will advocate for professional respect, competitive compensation, protected planning time, and the training they need to do their best work.

Enrichment & Opportunities
Every child deserves a path that fits their unique future — not just a one-size-fits-all academic track.
Catalina will expand student opportunities beyond standard academics, preparing every child for their own unique future. She champions robust programming in the creative and performing arts, music, sports, and hands-on technology — because a well-rounded education develops the whole child. She also believes students' home languages and cultural backgrounds are not barriers but fundamental academic assets that deserve to be celebrated and built upon.
